Our mission at Walter Bickett Elementary School is to ensure that all students achieve their potential and become productive citizens and life-long learners. Through collaborative partnerships with the students, parents, and community, we will provide a safe, nurturing environment and challenge all students to "be the best they can be."

Kindergarten classes at Walter Bickett will not be getting the winter ho-hums this year. A service group from Bank of America brought in tubs with supplies for each classroom. Thanks to Mrs. Karen Love, Walter Bickett was the recipient of many goodies and hours of volunteer service. Learn More |

There are a lot of things that Walter Bickett students like about the Twenty-first Century Program. But they really look forward to every Wednesday. Why? Because that is when they have clubs. They can choose whatever activity that interests them the most: arts and crafts, strategy games, robotics, or working on the newsletter. Learn More |

Nick Neptune, College Advisor for Monroe High School, recently addressed our fourth and fifth grade classes. He is not only a counselor and mentor for Union County's senior students seeking the means to go to college, but he is a motivational speaker for fourth and fifth grade students who have not really thought much about it yet. Allen Tate Realty of Monroe and Walter Bickett PTA teamed up to provide Wii Sports equipment for Walter Bickett. On January 13, 2010 Allen Tate representatives Ron Sumrow and Danielle Spuler presented Walter Bickett with 6 Wii Sports stations and an additional check of $4,166.00 to be spent on improvements throughout the school.
