Mrs. Olson’s First Grade Class Celebrates the 100th Day of School

What do 100 life savers look like? This was just one of the questions our class tried to answer when we celebrated the 100th day of school Thursday, January 26, 2012.

 After 100 days of reading, writing stories and solving math problems, we wanted to take time to think about how far we’ve come since the beginning of the school year and have some fun with the number 100.
 

3rd Grade Students Are On A Quest

A Web Quest that is! Students are working in teams to select a famous historical figure to research. Using note-taking strategies, students are recording their discoveries about the person's childhood and background, the reasons they were famous and how their actions influence us today. When the research is complete, students will create a Power Point Biography and present their projects to their classmates. After we complete the project, we will find other adventures to discover on our Quests!
